It was the summer of 2012 and I had gone to country concert with two of my roomates. On the second night of the concert the girls and I had decided to meet up with some of the guys holly went to high school with. When we had walked over to the group, there was this guy who was squirming people with a squirt gun. I though it was fun and decided to join him. Between all of the great artists and the fun with my friends I got to know this guy. I found out his name was danny, lived in michigan, and was going to school for business. we had a great time that night and we exchanged phone numbers. I was so nervous! We got back to the hotel and I had to leave to drive to Cleveland for my family trip the next day. I didn't have good cell phone reception out there but just as I was leaving I had a voice-mail from a 734 number, had to be Danny! I listened to the voice-mail and he had asked me to stop by his camp site before I left so that we could talk some more. Of couese I went and spent 2 hours talking to him in the car. I drove home that night and all I could think about was him! We spent my whole vacation talking at night, getting to know each other mpre, and had decided to have our first date the night I got back. From there the dates, jokes, and fun times continued until he asked me l he asked me the ONE question every girl can't wait to hear......will you marry me?

We had just finished dinner  at Rivers Edge and had stopped back at the house to put the extra pizza in the fridge before we went and saw Gone Girl. I was back in the bedroom waiting for danny to get ready (which was taking forever of course). We were just about to leave and then danny handed me a box and told me to open it. When I opened it, I thought he had given me the wrong thing! I kept asking him "Is this mine?" , " What are you doing?", and "is this real?". He just laughed and said of course it's for you, will you marry me? I was in shock! It was the most beautiful ring I had ever seen! I of course said yes and wanted to call my family to tell them the good news. From there we told all of our closest friends and family and started the planning!
